Spending on advertising and marketing activities for the 2022 elections in Brazil amounted to nearly 1.2 billion Brazilian reals as of September 22, 2022. Candidates running for the country's Presidency invested around 60 million reals in activities such as ad content production for radio and TV, digital advertising, and mobilization acts, among others. Brazil's political campaign started on August 16, 2022 and will last until the day before the elections in October. By then, ad spending is expected to increase further.
